The Heumann Book Accelerator
A Guided Leadership Book Development Program
Not Every Leader Needs a Ghostwriter

Some founders and executives already have the time and desire to write their own book.
What they often lack is structure, accountability, and an experienced narrative strategist to guide the process.
The Heumann Book Accelerator™ is designed for leaders who want to remain the primary author of their book while receiving expert guidance on story development, structure, and execution.
Instead of writing your book for you, we teach you how to build it, one milestone at a time.
The Heumann Book Accelerator is built upon the same Narrative Stewardship philosophy we use with our full-service leadership book clients. Rather than writing your book for you, we teach you the principles of story excavation, narrative architecture, and emotional truth so you can confidently write it yourself.
We've helped founders, executives, entrepreneurs, speakers, and mission-driven leaders transform experience into books that build authority, preserve legacy, and communicate ideas that endure.
Our work blends literary craftsmanship, cinematic storytelling, and deep narrative interviews into a process designed to preserve meaning—not simply produce manuscripts.
A 12-Session Guided Book Development Program
Whether you're writing a leadership book, fantasy novel, memoir, or fiction adventure, this structured mentorship helps transform your ideas into a finished manuscript.
What we do is teach you how to think like a storyteller, not just how to write your book.
Phase One
Build the Story
Session 1 — Finding the Core Story
Every great book begins with clarity.
Together we'll identify:
-
Who is the central character?
-
What world are they operating in?
-
What changes everything?
-
What transformation unfolds?
-
Why does this story matter?
By the end of the first session you'll be able to explain your entire book in three compelling paragraphs.
Session 2
Narrative Architecture
Now we design the framework.
We'll map:
-
Beginning
-
Middle
-
End
-
Turning Points
-
Midpoint
-
Darkest Moment
-
Climax
-
Resolution
Before writing chapters, we build the architecture.
Session 3
Chapter Blueprint
Every chapter receives a purpose.
We'll define:
-
Objective
-
Conflict
-
Perspective
-
Hook
-
Momentum
When we're finished, you'll have a complete roadmap for writing.
Phase Two
Guided Writing
Sessions 4–10
This is where your manuscript comes to life.
Each week we will:
-
Review your writing
-
Diagnose story problems
-
Strengthen pacing
-
Improve clarity
-
Preserve your authentic voice
-
Set achievable writing goals
You'll leave every session with clear direction and a concrete writing milestone.
Phase Three
Refinement & Completion
Sessions 11–12
Once the manuscript is drafted, we focus on refinement.
We'll evaluate:
-
Story pacing
-
Continuity
-
Character development
-
Theme
-
Emotional impact
-
Manuscript completion strategy
By the end of the program, you'll either have a completed manuscript or a fully developed roadmap for confidently finishing your book.
Still have questions? Every leadership story is different. We'd be happy to discuss your goals during a
Narrative Strategy Consultation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Heumann Book Accelerator designed for?
The Heumann Book Accelerator is designed for founders, executives, thought leaders, and professionals who want to write their own book while receiving expert guidance throughout the process. If you have the desire to remain the primary author but want structure, accountability, and an experienced narrative strategist to help shape your work, this program was built for you.
What makes this coaching different from other writing programs?
Most writing programs focus on productivity. We focus on narrative.
Drawing upon over two decades of experience in publishing, documentary filmmaking, and leadership storytelling, our coaching is grounded in narrative strategy, emotional intelligence, and human-led interpretation. We don't simply help you write more—we help you discover the story that deserves to be told and build it with purpose.
Do I need to have started writing before enrolling?
Not at all.
Many clients begin with nothing more than an idea they've carried for years. Others arrive with dozens of pages already written. Our first sessions focus on clarifying the story before any significant writing begins, ensuring every chapter serves a clear purpose before you invest hundreds of hours drafting.
Will I finish my book during the program?
Every project moves at its own pace, but most clients complete either a finished manuscript or a comprehensive narrative framework that allows them to confidently complete the remainder of their book.
Our objective is lasting progress, not rushed deadlines.
